CAPABILITIES

The materials division regularly supplies state-approved materials for projects of the William Charles companies as well as to contractors, builders, and individual customers. We maintain a solid safety record and consistently meet or exceed operational standards established by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and the Mining Safety and Health Administration.

William Charles Construction asphalt recycling operation is testimony to our sensitivity to environmental concerns. We also take enormous pride in mirroring the William Charles, Ltd. commitment to children by working effectively with the region's school districts to educate students and teachers about responsible mining of the earth's resources. For over a quarter of a century, we've conducted an annual Sand Day program; approximately 900 tons of sand are given away for children's sand boxes.
